This book could have easily been 2-3 seperate books, and it would have been more enjoyable. I love Fern Michaels works, but this one was just way too long!

A great intro to James, and one of his stronger novels (in my not so humble opinion.) Something gets lost with his denser tomes - I appreciate this gut-wrenching story, and these perfectly studied characters.
