I did a review on the characters on this book, because when I wrote this I'm still not sure if I could make a review of the entire story.. So here it goes.. Dru Anderson She struggle with finding out who among the people in the main Schola is on her side and who's against her. She's also having a trouble with what she feels towards Graves and Christophe. And the most important is her fellow svetocha Milady Anna who makes sure that Dru's stay at the school is not pleasant. Edgar Hideaki Graves He's totally unsatisfactory. Especially with him dealing with Dru's feelings for him. (Will he changed into a total werwulf if he did have sex? Is that why he's keeping Dru at arms length?) In the end of the book he was captured by Sergje, and that's another biggest twist in the story. What will happen if Sergje really broke Graves and sends him to kill Dru? If ever that'll happen it'll be a very exciting development of his character. Christophe Reynard And so the other coolest guy in the story appeared and stayed. Finally! Still an amazing character and Dru's knight in shining armor, but not so mysterious anymore as he opens up and his story was somewhat uncover in this book. He and Dru had a deeper connection due to drinking each other's blood, and him being a friend who used to be in love with Dru's mother. (Are they bonded? Because even if Christophe says they're not, the story seems to tell otherwise.) Sergje This time he didn't only send his minion but he also took Graves in correlation to Dru taking Ash. How cool is he as an antagonist? Ash He's a nice addition to the main characters. He did save Dru again from Sergje cronies, and he seems loyal to protect her against anything. I've been waiting for the time when he'll turn back to human form and be able to talk and tell his story. Dibs aka Samuel A growing turn for his character, him being useful as a medic in this story. August He is a very good friend of Dru's father, a djamphir and like a father to Dru. His story was told on Dru's flashback of her stay with him in New York. He shows up at Christophe's trial all battered up from escaping Sergje and bringing in the evidence against Milady Anna. Milady Anna And indeed she's the traitor, and a very annoying rival of Dru. She's the one who betrayed Dru's mother to Sergje, Dru being sent to the version of reform school of Schola, and the Order not knowing about another svetocha, which of course is Dru. In the end, on Christophe's trial, it was all exposed and Milady Anna shot Dru and others and still able to escaped. Leon, Benjamin & the Blond Brothers They're Dru's security in the Schola, another add up to the interesting sets of people who's on Dru's side. *** So Graves real name was revealed, Edgar Hideaki Graves. Wonder what's Dru's?
