Since this book was set in the South right after the Civil War, I was bound to enjoy it! It was good, but not great. A few scenes were too dark for my taste, but the overall story was enjoyable and I would recommend it.

One of my favorite books! XD I love the part where the BFG and Sophie have breakfast with the queen and the kitchen runs out of food. (:
