This was a fun book to read because I received an education on what it means to be a staunch Jew. A single mother moves into a Jewish community after having just converted to the faith. She finds that many of her neighbors are not willing to approve of the way she lives her new beliefs even though they are their own. She ends up teaching her community a thing or two and she obtains the support that she so desperately needs.
