Most notable because David and I went to the same nude beach Eggers went to w/his brother I presume, written about in this book. This was funny and good; Dave Eggers doesn't deserve to be hated.

I didn't like this book but the reason might be that I never related with or liked the characters. I found Michael to be very manipulative and was constantly looking to have his needs satisfied. I find this relationship bordered on abusive at times. Leesie on the other hand I found to be weak. She was willing to give up so much and would withstand Michael's treatment of her because he loved her. I think its sad that this was portrayed as a love story because of the events that took place within.
