Haven't finished reading all the stories, but he's a great short story writer. Malgudi is pretty much an every-town much like our Springfield, USA (of our beloved Simpsons) without the cynical, razor-sharp irony.

I wasn't sure I was going to like this one, but it was actually pretty good... reminded me a lot of Ya-yaish, only with a bit of a mystery.
