I wish there was a 4.5 star, but since there isn't, I will have to rate this a 4. What a journey this young woman experiences! Told through her writings of her journal, it's her experience told from her perceptions. It would be interesting to read a journal written by the mother about what REALLY happened. I've been told by many of my students this book was "amazing". It kinda reminds me of the movie "Reefer Madness" in how it might give readers enough fear to be more careful about their surroundings and what drugs can do to a person.
