Story of a former CIA spy who is now working as a private investigator and having trouble keeping his old aliases ("legends") straight in his head. Book explores his past incarnations, moving from Brooklyn to Beirut to Triple Border (Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil), and a lot of former Soviet countries. Ultimately focuses on the huge mafia activity and the freewheeling capitalism in post-Soviet Russia. A little cheesily worded at times, but still kind of awesome.
