This book was a delight. The form of the narrative, written as a letter from the narrator to her sister, provided a couple of surprises towards the end that made it obvious that this was a book about more than it seemed. I found that the description of family dynamics and the way that trauma can change these relationships was well crafted. It also explored the issue of who we believe and why we believe them and whether these reasons were adequate. The end of the book left me bemused and wondering whether what we were told happened really did. A mystery that reads like literature.
