My dad read this story to me over and over. I can still say some of the rhymes. Simply brilliant.

Like Natalie, I'm not liking Sharona so much...still love the book though :) Mr. Monk is funny and sweet and most endearing...he almost makes me seem normal LOL

I am strongly in favor of same-sex marriage. I'm the last person he needs to persuade, but I think he does have some good points I only wish people on the other side of the issue would take the time to consider. It's one of those issues I get kind of angry and upset about because I feel very strongly and I really can't even sympathize with the people arguing against it. The book is not a long tirade arguing for gay marriage, it's very funny and I almost cried at the end, so it's got it's touching moments as well. I don't agree with his views about monogomy not being necessary, at least for my own personal marriage. I guess it's fine for couples who have worked out some arrangement that actually makes them happy - that's your own personal business, I can't be the judge. Well, I still feel guys saying men are not meant to be monogomous blah, blah, blah...it's just a cop out in my book.
