This book was really sad and cruel, after a while of reading of all the miseries this family went through made it harder to finish reading it. It should only take so many chapters to let you know that the town is starving not the WHOLE book. This book was OK.

THIS IS ONE OF THE SADDEST BOOKS I HAVE READ!!! I CRIED IN MOST PART... BUT IT WAS A REALLY GOOD BOOK
