Listened to CD on family vacation. A little darker than what we have read before, but still appropriate for older kids (especially husbands). I would like to read more of this series as well.

I really liked this book for a lot of personal reasons. It was not exactly what I expected, but I loved it because of it. I was trying to predict the ending and how it would all magically end, but I didn't exactly predict it...which is always a plus. I like surprises. I love the plugs and encouragement it has to lose weight to get healthy again. The thoughts that go through the character's heads and the reality of what they say is close to home. I liked the romance in this, and I liked the idea that you can make dreams come true if you work hard for them. The only thing I didn't like was some of the characters in the end had some lower morals then I thought should have been. Whatever though, I still loved the story!
