Listened to this in the car commuting to work. It held my interest, and frequently had me wanting to drive a few extra blocks to hear what would happen. To me this doesn't read like a mystery, though it was labeled as such at my library. The title is apt, as the whole book is about the events leading up to an act of violence, versus attempting to solve the mystery of that act of violence. I think Elizabeth George did a great job of showing the challenges facing youth growing up in tough neighborhoods in today's world. I recommend you listen to it or read it!
