Didn't like is too soft a rating for this book. Hated it!!! I have enjoyed most of Palahniuk's books but this one is awful. hard to read with annoying name dropping throughout the book. STAY AWAY.

i LOVED this book (it's what i loved, hehehe).

This is a great introduction to revolutions worldwide, including condensed descriptions of successful revolutions and a survey of theoretical explanations as to cause and effect. Exactly what I was looking for! Excerpt: "Successful revolutionary coalitions are otherwise opposing, often strongly so. Once a coalition wins state power, it must then work out a plan for rebuilding the state, and at this point extensive bickering normally begins and a struggle ensues over which part of the coalition will be able to determine the future."
