love and hate for this one. found myself getting very frustrated with the characters at times and then i realized that i think i was because they were very realistic. enjoyed reading it.

You will not learn much of musical interest here - unless you like stories of farting, drunken brawls and dope smoking. First saw Billy Thorpe Play at a school dance at Sydney Boys high school with Lobby Loyd. Gee saying that really dates me, ;( Just found the soft cover version.

OK where shall I start with this, its military its SF its Egyptian gods, yep i think that covers it. Ok i wont go in to the storyline you can find that out easily enough. it as however an interesting read, i did have a storyline and not just a simple one where everybody is happy and safe at the end of it. However there are two more "age of..." and i am interested in seeing how these all fit together if at all. read the description of the book its really the only way to see if this is for you or not however i would mention its a great new publishing house and i would read it just to support them in their development.

Amazing - loved every minute of it. Glad to find that it is the first in a trilogy.

This is my favorite fiction book ever written. It's funny, sweet and manages to capture the horrors of adolescence (and suspended adolescence) perfectly. Perrotta does a magnificent job of capturing the differences in the voices between his characters. I also love all of the transferrence that happens between scenes. I love the ending of the book, too.
