it's definitely an interesting book...to be honest, it was a little difficult for me to get through it, but I found the issues of art and religion that it brings up very compelling.
I read this book first in a creative writing class- telling a story from an autistic boy's point of view is a novel idea and a very difficult task because it is more often than not impossible to know what is going on in the head of an autistic person. I read this book again as a psychology major, and I must also say that the book is accurate and although fiction, almost gives the reader an insight into autism and the way autistic people work. Very well done.
