This was my copy, has been recycled. History of Lambs Farm, founded by Bob Terese and Corinne Owen. Learned a lot about MR from reading this, at a practical level, not academic. Excellent writing, compelling reading. My kind of people!

Probably one his best known villanelles for a reason...because it's so damn good. First stanza: Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Thomas wrote this upon his father's impending death. Though it is clearly addressing his father directly, it rather reads as if Thomas wrote it more for his own comfort. This is also very good: ....Oh as I was young and easy in the mercy of his means, Time held me green and dying Though I sang in my chains like the sea. I would have liked to have knocked back a couple tanq gimlets with this dude. Though, that probably would have bad because he was an alcoholic. boozehound or not - he's still the kick.
