wheee! I read this and then my mom read it and we laughed and laughed because it's fun! Don't read it for real advice, crazy, although she does make some good points. (budgeting, making the most of what you have, etc.) Instead read it for how quirky and outdated the advice is. Being a secretary helps you meet men! Which records to purchase for your hi-fi! Oh and don't forget - have two fresh cigarettes and matches in the bathroom for when your man comes over. What?! Sometimes I wish I hadn't missed the sixties.

I devoured INCARCERON and then realized I was going to have to wait months for SAPPHIQUE.... it was worth the wait. I strongly recommend reading the two books back-to-back. Fisher's world-building is incredible, the characters complex, and the resolution satisfying.

This is the first in the Cedar Cover series, which I have recently discovered after reading other Debbie Macomber books. It is an enjoyable story and light reading. I finished it in one day. I'll definitely be reading more in the Cedar Cove series.
