I read this book for the same reason I ever read any part of the Bible: I was sick of missing the references. Although I read this book a while ago, I took notes making it possible to remember what I thought. Then I was particularly interested in the design and geography of Dante's Hell and the compelling imagery. I took this note, "Creatures biting into necks is mentioned several times. I wonder why?" Profound I know, but of the three comedies in this set, I liked this one best.
Excellent book recommended to me by Lauren Casey. It made me feel like I finally belong somewhere. Story of a young boy trying to find his purpose in life, and battle the inner demons left from an overly religious family (standards of which none can meet). His journey as he meets Demian, the boy with the supernatural glow, and their interactions over the course of a life time; philosophy, revolution and death.
