This is my first Sarah Dessen book. I'd heard she was good but was a little skeptical. Keeping the moon was EXCELLENT. The characters and the town were so weird, but as Colie begins to find herself and make friends I as the reader began to fall in love with all of them. As I read the reviews talking about this before I read it, this got me ticked off because it seemed like it gave away part of the book: someone named Josh as some jerk Colie falls for before she realizes that Mr. I'm-not-going-to-name-because-that-would-ruin-the-plot is great for her. He's not, just to clarify for all of you that are trying to find out whether this is worth it. KEEPING THE MOON is not one of those books where she has an amazing guy best friend right under her clueless nose who she has feelings for but denies, then falls for Mr. Wrong.
