Sulak bir bilim adamı olarak konuyla çoğu insandan daha fazla ilgilenebilirim. Tarihi büyüleyici buldum. Kitabın açık ve bilgilendirici olduğunu düşündüm.

The reason I even picked up Swoon was because I had received an ARC of the second book in the series. I may have even started and read 100 pages into the second book.... I decided it was probably a good idea to read the first book first. A novel idea I know. This beginning of this book is great; it draws you in, gets you interested in the story and the characters. I kind of feel the that blurb on the back gives a little too much away about the story actually, but because it's so well written, it didn't matter that I knew the basic plot lines for the first 150 pages or so. And Sin....let's just say I'm in love. He is a bad, bad, boy. Sin is one of those characters you love to hate....and love to love. It's kind of weird, because he's is the villain in this story in so many ways, yet you are rooting for him in a way too. You want him and Dice to get together, for them to be happy. If only all Sin had on his mind wasn't revenge... Dice, the protagonist that we read the story through was a good heroine with realistic responses; she did what I think most people would have done in her situation. She does seem a little callused to what Sin is doing at times, but she, like anyone, has her flaws. The plot in the book was good, but I do have to say I wouldn't recommend this story to anyone under 15. There is a lot of sexual content, and though it adds to the intrigue and tension, I thought it was a little over done; that it could have been toned down a bit and the plot itself wouldn't have suffered. Once you get past that though, it was a very fast, haunting read, enough though it's over 400 pages. Overall, I thought Swoon was very good, and I would recommend it to older teens and adults who want a sexy, adventurous hell-of-a book. Now I can't wait to finish the 2nd book! --Alexis
