I did the audio version of this book and I enjoyed it. I didn't LOOOVE it the same way I did "A Dog's Purpose", but it was certainly fun and kept me awake and interested in the car (always a bonus). I know it's not necessarily fair to compare the two books, as they're quite different... BUT I can't help it, they're both narrated by dogs. I found the plot engaging enough to keep me interested and the characters were likable enough. No offense to all the dogs reading this, but this dog was a bit too intellectual for me to find it realistic that this could be how a dog thinks (as opposed to "A Dog's Purpose"). Regardless, I still liked this well-intentioned, smart dog too! In summary, If you're only going to read one "dog-narrated book I'd read "A Dog's Purpose". BUT, if you can separate out that they're totally different books, I found this book rather enjoyable and engaging.
