Okay, so my first impression of the FIRST book? 'Not to bad, I think I'd like to find out what happens to Zoey.' After the second book, I thought it was a fairly interesting vampire series. Third book? Ugh, omigod, Zoey is a slut! I hated her. Not to mention her narrating voice was starting to get on my nerves. I mean, do all teenagers think like this? Or is it just me? Huh. Maybe it is just me... Anyway, I've been sucked in too deep now. I HAVE to find out which boy Zoey's going to end up with, so that's the only reason (and okay, Stevie Ray's growing on me) I'm now reading Hunted (fifth book in these series) But my suggestion? Don't start with these series.

This book was both everything I expected and nothing at all what I expected. I loved the switching back and forth between Then and Now. I loved how much Lena grew up in this book, it makes me excited to see where she ends up. I will admit though, about a third of the way into the book, I had no clue where it was headed. The last third, I expected somewhat, but it still came together smoothly. I believe the first book was for Lena to discover love and to break down the walls around her. The second book was about discovering herself and learning who she wants to be. Can't wait for the next one.....Major cliffhanger!!!!

This was a slow read for me. But in the end I really learned a lot. This is a book where you can learn a lot about yourself and the person you would like to become.
