What I learned from this book.... Well this is a prime example of a book that should have been cut down by about one hundred sixty pages. None of the characters were likeable in the least and the three main characters were pathetic and desperate. It still shocks me that this book and the movie based on it became such icons in the gay community due to the constant gay bashing within the pages. I will say this the first half is highly entertaining and shockingly vulgar when it comes to sex. I am very thankful that the narrative is plain, simple and straight to the point.
