Funny and sad and compelling. Young is one of the best contemporary poets writing today. If you get a chance to hear him read, then grab it, and prepare to be charmed.

I love Shanghvi! I love that an Indian author is so willing to explore issues of homosexuality, which is out there and swept under the rug in so many different cultures. The characters in this novel are so human. Multi-faceted and complex. Their happiness is shrouded in their guilt, shame and whatever other emotion can get in the way of true emotion. Shanghvi fan forever!

I know a lot of people didn't like Book 3 as much as the first 2. They are wrong.
