I'm kind of glad it's over, but I also kind of want to read the next one. Glutton for punishment, I guess. I don't much like Updike's worldview as I infer it from this book.

a beautiful book about terroism and music. perhaps when real acts of terror are so common, this book imagined a world where we understand the human side of everyone involved.
