Now if you go back and scroll down a bit you'll see where I "met" David Sedaris at a book signing. Really I just looked at him while he signed my book. Before all that I listened to him through a sea of people and somewhere during his talk he mentioned a book called Random Family. Well, I like books and I trust that David Sedaris so I bought the book. COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. It's nothing like Sedaris or his own writing but is instead a soul-absorbing, gut-wrenching story of a Puerto Rican family in New York and the seduction of drugs and gang life. Heartbreaking and so real that you'll want to scream through the pages.
