When I finished this book, I felt such a sense of accomplishment. I gave it 5 stars, perhaps mostly for the good feeling it gave me to conquer this book. I loved the peace parts, and found most of the war boring. I guess that says more about me than the book though.

I still can't say exactly how I feel about Tom Robbins even after reading three of his books, but this is definitely my favorite. He's an extremely intelligent and talented writer, and the book is really entertaining.
