Lord of the Flies is a classic that I never read in school but was exposed to when I had to teach it. I thoroughly enjoyed the novel and all of the possible discussions that derived from it such as "Is the island a microcosm of the Western World?" "Was Simon a symbolic figure of Jesus?" "Are humans inherently evil - nature vs. nature prevails?" I love how Golding provides a commentary on human nature and our society that is still relatable today. I would recommend this to be taught in grades 7-10.

This was another one of those OMG!! books. AWESOME, AWESOME story!! Can't wait to read book #3.

It is a really nice book for people who likes to learn English well. I like this book since it has really related nice pictures for every lesson, that help you understand new words.
