Really liked her writing. I found the author to be intelligent, self assured, and able to reflect upon herself and her past with honesty and tenderness. This is a sad book but one with a story of pulling through tough times that everyone will be able to relate to (unfortunately) sooner or later. If you have ever experienced the death of someone close to you, you will probably be able to relate to the author's experience of reliving and questioning the experience over and over again in your mind. The medical details could at times be monotonous, but I guess in reality that is part of the experience. Not a book for everyone but I really enjoyed listening to it in the form of an audio book.
