so I got this book from the library and had to give it back. I love it and want to get it again and maybe even buy it. It's writ5ten for city-folk who have a dream. :-)

This was an unexpectedly fantastic book that I flew through. I picked up a used copy at the local library booksale for $1 and it sat on my shelf for two years. Go figure! It still amazes me that the author is a man, because he writes such a rich female character with a particularly female profession. And I really appreciated his devotion to historical accuracy. Just a great read.
