Yes, it took getting to the middle for me to care what happened. It's an interesting slice of life during the reign of King George and especially the supporters of "prinny" the son who wanted to be king by being part of the somewhat anti-monarchic side...well you know THATs not going to work. I got Tipping the Velvet recently on Netflix for a thoroughly gay time! Altogether an enjoyable book.

I felt kind of silly having taken so long to get around to reading this. I've read quite a few books that have reimagined this theme. I was almost tempted to have Tyler read this, but it's a bit more graphic than I'd like for him--he's 10. If you like sci/fi and fantasy, it's fantastic mind candy.
