Oh how I loved this book. My traveling companions had Let's Go Europe, and I had this one. You can see where my priorities lay. I loved it and I wish they'd kept it up. Not that I'm much of a partier any more, but still--I think it filled a niche, don't you?

** spoiler alert ** I really enjoyed this book, although it was depressing. This is the first Jodi Picoult book I have ever read. This book certainly holds your attention, and it kept me wanting to keep reading to find out what happens next. When there is a school shooting or a murder commited (especially by a child or teenager), I have many times felt sorrier for the parents of the child committing the deed. Yes, the parents of the murdered victim will never see their child again, but the parents of the child that did the killing looses that child forever also, as well as have to live with the fact that their child did the horrible and unforgivable. I can't imagine the torment of that reality.
