Interesting at points but overall good for a one time read.

Although difficult to relatre to culturally, having grown up in America, this book touches on everything which concerns humanity no matter where you grew up. I first read this book haphazardly in college. I rished through due to the time limit I had to finish. My second time through I was able to savor each horrific and tocuhing moment. I recemond this book to anyone who is interested in the common ground of philosophical thought, on either a human or metaphysical level.
