I will happily read ANYTHING written by Rachel Vincent. Her ideas are fresh and intriguing - she creates strong, self-assured characters and intricately weaves them into the fabric of her intelligent story line's, making for fascinating reading and inspired and admirable characters. She creates characters people aspire to be like - that are head-strong and smart, she produces true heroine's, in every sense of the word. Rachel Vincent is a genius! I can't wait for the next novel.

A fun story about how an anonymous simpleton uses minimalistic garden metaphors to unintentionally climbs the ladders of financial and political power in America. If the character wasn't so innocuous I'd say he reminds me of an actual former president...
