Lucky me, I got an advance copy of this book. I read it in maybe 3 days following (and only that long because I had to work!) I had rolled my eyes when I read the comparisons reviewers had made to Salman Rushdie and Arundhati Roy. But he nails it- making the writing of THE LAST SONG OF DUSK arguably more accessible than the works of either. I am getting ready to reread this one (I NEVER reread. That's how much I liked it), so re-review to come!
