this isn't a boring book to read- I just thought some of the stuff was so incredibly unrealistic (I know, it's a book, but I believe it was a bit based on reality) that it just annoyed me. I don't care how into the future it is, you can't keep canned food for 200 plus years, ha ha! But did I promptly read the sequeals, of course, so I guess I liked it.
