I always thought that Jane of Latern Hill was much better then Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables series, but so sad that there was only one book, no sequals.

No one writes with Vonnegut's unique blend of bluntness and humanity. He takes a fresh, scathing look around, and makes the worst-case scenario a pleasure to read, and somehow a perverse source of hope. I eventually intend to read everything he's written.

3.5 stars I liked it a lot, but would have enjoyed the beginning more if I hadn't concentrated so hard on trying to remember exactly who? what? where? etc. everyone's backstory was. I think it's time for a reread of the whole series soon. I liked that the main characters were flawed but willing to learn…eventually.
