This was a wonderful dog story. Definitely something I can recommend to middle level students. There was a fun twist and of course the wonderful dog! I hope the author is coming out with a story about Squirrel, Bone's sister.

I read this for my book club. It is very interesting to learn about Jews and even differences in the Jewish culture sects. I really enjoyed the father son relationships. One was very different from what I would ever want to have but I learned a lot from seeing it in the book.
