I saw an interview of this author...on Colbert report. I'll eventually read it.
Hmm, I enjoyed this story, though the first half much more than the last. The story was set up so wonderfully, but then I felt like it fizzled out a bit. It was set up to be so explosive, and then ended without much drama at all. It ended up leaving so much up in the air and I didn't really feel like much would be resolved in the long run. The freedom Ashton and Justice won seems only short-lived.
I liked reading her Cinderella Pact- so I am giving this a try.
No nearly as well-written as vol. 1. Mr. Freehling wrote as if he were in a hurry or simply went through the motions.
