This was on par with the rest of this series - good, solid information but a little dry. The pictures are nice. This series is fairly neutral on the conflicts between the tribes and the settlers which is nice because it allows the reader to make up their own minds. I've found that the History Pockets provide just as much information on certain tribes as these books do, plus they include craft activities. We use the History Pockets for the main info now and look through the books for pictures.
