I am truly mesmerized by Hooper's novels. This one was stirring, scary and the pace just flies. The suspense never lets up. I was so sure the killer was one of the deputies, then I thought it was Marsh, then I didn't know what to think. I even thought there for awhile it might even have been Liz! As always, Hooper kept me guessing til the end and I was utterly stunned. Can't wait for my eyes to read those first few words of the next novel!!
