Unlike the quote on the front of the book assured me, I just couldn't root for a heroine who is having an affair with her best friend's fiance - no matter how horrid her best friend is. And talk about a guy who is missing his cojones. If you know you're in love with someone else, then suck it up, be a man and dump the person you're with. There's a right way to do things folks. GRANTED, I couldn't bring myself to finish the book (I was too disgusted with the characters and it was too dirty), so there is a slim chance the characters redeemed themselves, but if it ended like the movie, then no, they didn't.

Really good - and very, very tragic.
