My son asked me for weeks to read this. "It's very funny." I finally struggled with the mechanics of reading a manga and found... he was right. If you know anything about Pokemon, this book is really funny. Worth learning reading from right to left. I'll probably read the next couple in the series.

was good - but again think it will be better second time round Re-read June 2012 I did enjoy is the second time more than the first. It's gone from a 3 star to a 3.5. It's interesting seeing all the little clues mentioned once you know where the storyline is going. But I do find Jace and Clary frustratingly predictable characters. It's more of the unwinding of the storyline that gains the higher star rating as opposed to character development and writing style, both of which are very typical for YA novels, being frustratingly basic.
