I have this weird obsession with the Amish so I knew I would like it. I have never written a review so I don't know how much to tell about the story line but here I go: Amish community in PA finds dead baby in a barn...big city lawyer gets involved...and so on. (same author as My Sister's Keeper)

Maybe 3 3/4 stars. An exciting adventure/survival story about the extremely dangerous experience of illegally "crossing the wire"--the border between Mexico and the U.S. The story is told from a young Mexican boy's point of view, so the reader is sympathetic to his personal plight. The book gives insight into the huge issue of illegal immigration between Mexico and the U.S.
