It's nice to know why Elphaba became the Wicked Witch of the West. Although I think I am a bit too old for fairy tales. There are funny lines though and I never have thought that witches make love too! However, this is not enough for me to grab the second part - Son of the Witch right away like when I read Twilight.

I really liked this book. The second half is great! A slow start, but a really interesting story with a bunch of twists at the end. A truly enjoyable read.
