It's a good reference and gives strategies, some general and some specific, for implementing a persistence layer with the (N)Hibernate framework. I bought this book, because there wasn't anything available for NHibernate, and had no problems translating everything to .NET. My understanding is that NHibernate was as close to a straight port of Hibernate as was possible.
