Writing itself not so great in spots, but the story kept me interested enough to finish and add the sequel to my 'to read' list.

Sandra Brown is a great romance and mystery writer. But I must say, her books follow a pattern. It's o.k. though, I enjoy knowing the gist of the plot but having to find out the details. I enjoyed this book mostly for the heroine being a red-head :)
