Japanese existentialism and SAND.

I think this is one of the best works of PIccoult. I enjoyued the "what if" formt of the book. The only bad part was the saddness of it, but then, sometimes life is sad.

This book was all shades of sad. It took a little bit to get past the staccato style of writing and the narrator's voice, but all in all it was a beautiful, heartbreaking story. I'm not sure I'll ever really recover from it.
