This was kind of a weird little book, but I couldn't put it down - and blew through it in a few hours. It's the story of a woman, the daughter of a big broadway producer, who has lived her life mostly in the shadow of her mother and now at 32 runs into her imaginary childhood friend. Yeah. So it's a bit of a "fantasy" novel of sorts. Her childhood friends is the "perfect" man in every way it seems - handsome, a good listener, a romantic, tender and gentle. Like I said, "fantasy." But, I cried like a baby for the last 30 or so pages. Kind of weird. I guess I'd put it in the same class as the time-traveler's wife, except shorter and easier to read and maybe a lighter story - I never finished the TTW, so...I can't say completely.
